This afternoon we went to Makenna's party at school. First we watched the costume parade of all the kids. Everyone looked great.
They got to play some games. Keaton was even allowed to play too. He thought he was BIG now!
This is a blog about my family. Time goes by so fast! Sometimes we forget to mark the occasion or share with others the things that are happening in our life (as mundane as they are sometimes). Hopefully, this will help... and give everyone the chance to watch us grow.

They rode on the cow train. They played in the corn. They went down a big slide. They jumped on a giant air pillow. We all went on a hayride. Then it was back to Nana and Papaw's house for some cake. Happy Birthday Papaw!! We hope you had a good day. We sure did.
Makenna brought a paper home from school today that made me realize she is growing up. She had a pledge card that she signed and pledged to lead a drug-free life, stay happy and healthy, and stand up for what she knows is right. WOW! She is beyond the age where Stacey and I can protect her at all times. She is on the bus and at school without us around to make her decisions for her. All we can do is teach her best we know how to do what is right, put our trust in her, and pray that when a situation arises she will do what is right and then feel comfortable enough to talk with us about it. Where did the time go??
