A Dinosaur Day For Keaton

Sunday afternoon we celebrated Keaton's birthday with our family. It was a fun time.

Baby Update

It has been a while since my last post. I need to get better about blogging again. Lots of exciting changes will be happening around here soon!



I am 21 weeks along in my pregnancy. I have been having some pain lately. I called the Dr. this week and he sent me for an ultrasound. They said everything looked fine and our little GIRL is doing ok. He suggested I drink more and rest more to see if that helps with the pain. It has improved some over the past couple of days...yeah!

I am ready to start organizing and making room for baby. Makenna is really excited to help with the shopping of all the little pink outfits and things. I think I am pretty excited too.

On Tuesday, I go for the big ultrasound where they check it all out and make sure she is growing as she should. I look forward to my appointments. It is nice to get to hear the heartbeat and get a sneak peak at her.



I know this is going to be the last baby I carry. I am trying to take it all in this time and not miss a thing.

Vacation 2009

We are spending a week in South Carolina. The kids really enjoy it here. They go to the beach in the morning and the pools in the afternoon. It is a rough life here. School starts on Monday so this is definitely our final fun of the summer!

Today I Did Something New...

Today I went para sailing with my dad. That is a fun memory with him that I will never forget!

The Kitchen Help

Happy Birthday Makenna

Friday the 15th was Makenna's 8th birthday. She had a good day at school complete with cupcakes for her classmates. We let her pick where she wanted to go for dinner. She picked Texas Roadhouse (I was so proud...I knew Chuck-E-Cheese was on the tip of her tongue!!). After dinner I made an unexpected stop with Keaton at the doctor's office to find out he has strep throat. We had to cancel the birthday cook-out for today. Makenna was a little upset but we will reschedule it for her later. So, instead of fun family cook-out pictures for this post, just this quick update will have to do for now.

Happy Easter

This morning when the kids got up they discovered the Easter Bunny had left a surprise for them.

They looked pretty spiffy in their Easter clothes. Keaton actually liked the tie! (I was afraid it was going to be an issue.)

We went to Aunt Shirley's after church for lunch. The cousins were there too. We had a good visit.

Keaton's favorite part of the day was when Uncle Floyd took them to look at the tractors in the barn. Keaton was in heaven!!

The End Of Our Day

Tonight after supper we had strawberry shortcake.

Then the kids opened their Easter cards we have received in the mail this week.

Thanks for the cards and money Nana, Papaw, Nanny Fran, and Pop-Pop!!

Please Pray

Please pray for my niece Ava. She is the one in the picture sitting on my mom's lap. She and her family are visiting relatives in Phoenix and this morning she had an accident. All the information I have received is that she has a skull fracture and they are transferring her to a hospital where they have a pediatric intensive care unit.
