Happy Halloween

Today was sure a fun packed day!

This afternoon we went to Makenna's party at school. First we watched the costume parade of all the kids. Everyone looked great.

They got to play some games. Keaton was even allowed to play too. He thought he was BIG now!

They had goodies packed with sugar!!

After school we went to the church. The kids had fun at the Fall Festival. They made a few crafts.

Then they played a few games.

After that we hit the town for some good ole' fashion trick-or-treating. We ended the night going to Papaw and Nana's for supper. I think the kids lasted maybe two minutes after they hit their pillows tonight. They were really tired.

Stacey had fall break last week. He spent all of his days off painting. Here are a couple pictures of the progress. We are getting there...

Pumpkins And More

Tonight the kids got to paint their pumpkins. They thought that was really fun. Then they opened their pumpkin cards from the family. We finished off the evening with homemade pumpkin pie (thanks Grandma). It was a good evening.

Trust And Believe

When we choose to believe that ALL the events in our life are good for us, even the ones that seem frustrating and painful for now, we are agreeing with God! When we choose to believe and trust God that there will always be a good outcome, we are trusting Him! Only God knows why we are going through these circumstances. Our new dialogue with God will be, "God, this is going to be an interesting journey. I'm excited to see how you are going to bring good out of this one. I trust you will!"


...I needed to hear that today and am trying to trust Him. Just thought I would share.

Happy Birthday Papaw!

Sunday was a fun day. We took the kids to 1 Fun Farm to play after church and a good lunch that Nana had made. They had a good time. They played with the cousins and we all celebrated Papaw's birthday. They rode on the cow train. They played in the corn. They went down a big slide. They jumped on a giant air pillow. We all went on a hayride. Then it was back to Nana and Papaw's house for some cake. Happy Birthday Papaw!! We hope you had a good day. We sure did.

Zoo Boo 2008

Thursday we went to Zoo Boo at the Indianapolis Zoo. We went with Nana and met the cousins there.

They all looked great in their costumes!

We enjoyed seeing the animals.

Then it was off to dinner. We had a great evening!

The Little Man

Here is my guy heading into preschool for another day of learning. He never puts up a fuss and is always excited to get there. He has changed a lot recently. He is growing up too...
