Makenna brought a paper home from school today that made me realize she is growing up. She had a pledge card that she signed and pledged to lead a drug-free life, stay happy and healthy, and stand up for what she knows is right. WOW! She is beyond the age where Stacey and I can protect her at all times. She is on the bus and at school without us around to make her decisions for her. All we can do is teach her best we know how to do what is right, put our trust in her, and pray that when a situation arises she will do what is right and then feel comfortable enough to talk with us about it. Where did the time go??

...but the years have been good to us. We are rich in love in our house. Makenna is growing up pretty and smart (ok, pretty smart) and Keaton is amazing too. We have been VERY blessed. I love you honey. Thanks for keeping everyone up to date on our kids!
